The 4 Armenian troopers killed by Azerbaijani hearth early on Tuesday have been members of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union (YVU), the group mentioned in a press release.
The Protection Ministry recognized the fallen servicemen as Edward Harutyunyan (1974), Gagik Manukyan (1982), Arsen Hambardzumyan (1979) and Hrachya Hovhannisyan (1957).
One other YVU member, Rostam Vardanyan (1988) was wounded in Azerbaijani taking pictures. His well being situation is presently assessed as average, with no rapid menace to life.
“The Yerkrapah Volunteer Union expresses condolences and help to the members of the family and fellow troopers of the victims, wishing a speedy restoration to Rostam Vardanyan,” reads the assertion.
