His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday graced the Introduction to Service Ceremony for 2 of the 4 newly acquired C295MW plane for the Royal Brunei Air Pressure (RBAirF) held at Rimba Air Pressure Base.
Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness 920 Main (U) Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
The ceremony was held to officiate the C295MW Transport Plane Functionality into service for the RBAirF following its arrival on 24 January 2024.
In accordance with the Ministry of Defence (MinDef), RBairF pilots and aircrews will start coaching within the Southeast Asian area in preparation for varied strategic and tactical transport missions on the regional and worldwide ranges together with Humanitarian Help and Catastrophe Reduction (HADR) operations, Medical Evacuations (MEDEVAC), Aeromedical Evacuations (AE) and Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The aircrafts are able to fulfilling varied roles together with Troop and Cargo Transport, VIP Transport, Freefall, Airborne Static Jumps and Cargo Drop.
