MUMBAI: BJP and Shiv Sena (UBT) staff clashed in Ratnagiri in Maharashtra on Friday after stones had been pelted on former MP Nilesh Rane’s automobile, prompting police to fireside teargas shells to convey the scenario below management.
Rane, son of Union minister Naraayn Rane, was on his approach to handle a rally in Guhagar when the incident passed off close to Patpanhale Faculty, an official stated.
“Supporters of Rane and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Bhaskar Jadhav clashed with one another. Teargas shells needed to be lobbed to revive normalcy within the space. Somebody allegedly pelted stones at Rane’s automobile when he was on his approach to attend a public assembly. BJP staff assembled on the scene, after which staff from each events indulged in stone throwing,” the Guhagar police station official stated.
A number of vehicles had been broken although there was no report as but of accidents to anybody, the official stated, including the method of registering an FIR was underway.
