Former Finance Minister of Sri Lanka and Founding father of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), Basil Rajapaksa, returned to Sri Lanka this morning (March 05).
A bunch of SLPP members had been on the Bandaranaike Worldwide Airport (BIA) in Katunayake to welcome the occasion’s founder.
After the collapse of the Gotabaya Rajapaksa authorities, former Minister Basil Rajapaksa flew to america of America.
Talking to the media upon his arrival, Basil Rajapaksa mentioned that no official resolution has been reached concerning the candidates for the upcoming elections.
He talked about that whatever the nature of the election, he would lead the SLPP to organize for it.
