Opposition Member of Parliament, Dr. Harsha de Silva, has alleged that latest raids within the North and East, which uncovered a big inventory of liquor bottles with cast safety stickers, had been prompted by a dispute between the Excise Division and liquor producers.
Addressing the media, Dr. Harsha de Silva, representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, claimed {that a} disagreement over cost between sure Excise officers and liquor producers led to the raids.
