Punjab govt announces holidays for Daanish schools

LAHORE: The Punjab authorities has introduced nine-day vacation for Daanish faculties on the event of Eid ul Fitr, starting from April 6. 

In a notification issued on Saturday, the provincial authorities stated the Daanish Faculties within the province will stay closed from April 6 to April April 14.  

Historically, Eid holidays start a day sooner than the anticipated date to permit people ample time for preparations and to partake within the joyous festivities.

With the federal government reportedly considering a four-day vacation ranging from April 9 (Tuesday) to April 12 (Friday), coupled with the standard weekend holidays on Saturday and Sunday noticed by each authorities and choose non-public places of work, the full vacation interval is predicted to span six days, in line with state-run APP.
