Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) organised a Khatam Al-Quran on Saturday.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Minister on the Prime Minister’s Workplace and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Main Basic (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof because the chairman of BKISHHB Board of Advisors.
It was adopted by a mass recitation of Surah Adh-Dhuha till Surah An-Nas.
It continued with Doa Khatam by Mosque Affairs Division’s imam Muhd Arif bin Haji Johari and Selawat Tafrijiyyah. This was adopted by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by the imam.
The occasion additionally noticed Pehin Datu Lailaraja Main Basic (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi current donations to 4 orphans. The ceremony concluded with an iftar and Maghrib prayer.
Minister of Tradition, Youth and Sports activities Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) on the Prime Minister’s Workplace Dato Seri Paduka Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos and Deputy Minister (Safety and Regulation) on the Prime Minister’s Workplace Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu had been current as members of BKISHHB Board of Advisors. – Rokiah Mahmud
