Bali Regional Police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Ariasandy mentioned the officer was arrested for allegedly coordinating with recruitment businesses to ship employees overseas beneath false guarantees.
In complete, six suspects have been charged within the case, together with the officer, and all have been held on the Bali Regional Police detention middle since Oct. 16.
Ariasandy mentioned the suspects lured victims by providing excessive salaries, then trapped them in debt and compelled them into unsuitable work circumstances.

Police have recognized 21 victims linked to the case, all believed to have been trafficked by means of the Benoa space. The victims have been repatriated and are receiving psychological help for trauma restoration.
Ariasandy mentioned the Bali police are coordinating with the Indonesian Authorized Support Basis (YLBHI) to make sure victims obtain authorized safety and help.
