Barcelona, Nov 29 (SANA) International ministers of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) affirmed their help for the Syrian authorities’s efforts to rebuild the nation on foundations that guarantee safety, stability, unity, and sovereignty, welcoming Syria’s reintegration into the Union after years of absence.

In response to the Jordan Information Company, the ministers assembly in Barcelona, underneath the presidency of Jordan and the European Fee, reaffirmed in a joint assertion issued on the tenth Regional Discussion board of International Ministers of the Union their help for the joint Jordanian-Syrian-American roadmap geared toward stabilizing southern Syria and resolving the disaster in Sweida.

Syria participated within the tenth Regional Discussion board of the Union for the Mediterranean with a delegation headed by Mohammad Bara Shukri, Director of the European Affairs Division on the Syrian Ministry of International Affairs and Expatriates, who acknowledged earlier at this time: “Syria’s participation within the discussion board in Barcelona, after years of absence, represents an vital step in rebuilding channels of communication between Syria and the Union’s member states.”
