
Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Overseas Affairs and Chairman of the Nationwide Human Rights Committee, recommended the efforts of the Bahrain Institute for Political Improvement (BIPD) in selling political and human rights consciousness, and its contributions over twenty years to advancing Bahrain’s democratic achievements and sustainable growth beneath the management of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Minister recommended the Institute’s nationwide position in strengthening the rule of legislation and enriching political and human rights understanding, consistent with the Structure and the ideas of the Nationwide Motion Constitution. He highlighted the Institute’s scientific, coaching, and analysis actions, in addition to its lectures, dialogue classes, and specialised programmes, which have contributed to the event of the parliamentary expertise of the Shura and Representatives Councils throughout six legislative phrases, supported the work of municipal councils and the Capital Municipality, and enhanced ladies’s and youth political participation.
Dr. Al Zayani expressed appreciation for the Institute’s participation in implementing the Nationwide Human Rights Plan and its programmes aimed toward supporting nationwide efforts, constructing the capability of youth and civil society establishments, and strengthening accountable democratic practices inside the framework of the rule of legislation and state establishments. He underscored the significance of the “Darrib” (Prepare) Nationwide Elections Programme in enhancing preparedness for the seventh parliamentary and municipal elections subsequent 12 months.
Moreover, the Minister recommended the Institute’s devoted efforts to advertise social consciousness, strengthen nationwide id, strengthen dedication to Gulf, Arab, and Islamic ideas, and reinforce values of loyalty, belonging, and real citizenship. He famous the Institute’s position in fostering tolerance and coexistence amongst society, encouraging lively civic participation in advancing complete growth, and supporting the safety, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom inside the framework of constructive neighborhood partnership.
Dr. Zayani congratulated the Bahrain Institute for Political Improvement on its twentieth anniversary, expressing appreciation for the efforts of the Board of Trustees, chaired by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, in addition to the chief administration and all employees. He wished the Institute continued success in fulfilling its nationwide mission and sustaining its position as one in all Bahrain’s main democratic and cultural establishments.
