The Sindh Training Division’s Steering Committee on Thursday accepted the schedule for winter holidays throughout the province.
In accordance with a departmental spokesperson, all private and non-private academic establishments in Sindh will observe the winter break from December 22 to 31.
“Colleges will reopen on January 1,” the spokesperson confirmed.
He added that supplementary examinations being performed by varied schooling boards would proceed as deliberate and wouldn’t be affected by the vacations.
The announcement follows the Punjab authorities’s earlier notification relating to winter holidays. Punjab has declared an extended break, with all private and non-private faculties to stay closed from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026. Academic establishments within the province will reopen on January 10, marking the resumption of the tutorial calendar.
