LAHORE: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Usman Haider has confessed to killing his spouse and daughter months after pretending that they had gone lacking, Deputy Inspector Normal (DIG) Zeeshan Raza Shah confirmed on Sunday.
DSP Haider shot and killed his spouse and daughter and dumped their our bodies individually in Kahna and Sheikhupura, the DIG mentioned.
He added that each our bodies had been recovered and have been despatched for autopsy examinations. Additional investigation into the case is underway.
In line with police, the couple had been dealing with marital discord for a very long time. The scenario reportedly worsened after DSP Haider contracted a second marriage, which led to frequent arguments at dwelling.
Police mentioned the deceased lady was DSP Haider’s first spouse, with whom he had a love marriage. After his second marriage, home conflicts intensified, finally ensuing within the tragic incident.
