BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 16. Azerbaijan
at present maintains 9,342 collective agreements alongside 123
sectoral collective agreements, reinforcing the nation’s
dedication to employee rights and social collaboration, Azerbaijan
Commerce Union Confederation (ATUC) Chairman Sahib Mammadov stated in
his report on the Confederation’s eighth congress in Baku, Development stories.
Mammadov underscored the escalating dynamism of social
partnership, noting that every successive principal collective
settlement integrates modern and progressive stipulations
meticulously aligned with the exigencies of the present labor
drive.
“Final month, along with our companions, we signed the ‘Nation
Program for Respectable Work for 2025-2029’ with the Worldwide
Labour Group (ILO). This landmark settlement will strengthen
social partnerships, develop staff’ social safety, and drive
sustainable, inclusive development in Azerbaijan’s labor market,” he
stated.
On the Congress of Azerbaijan Commerce Unions on February 5-6,
1993, AHIK was based. A voluntary union of interbranch
associations and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the commerce
union defends and helps its members’ labor, social, and financial
rights and pursuits. AHIK hyperlinks 18,610 unions. Complete commerce union
membership is 1,600,000. 26 department commerce unions kind AHIK. The
Commerce Union Regulation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was handed on
February 24, 1994.
