MUSCAT: A complete of 51,482 jobs have been supplied to residents in 2025, a 114-per cent enhance over the annual goal for employment and coaching of 45,000.
The Ministry of Labour defined that this achievement displays integration between the general public and the personal sectors in supporting the nationwide employment technique.
The ministry stated that its high quality programmes and initiatives included alternative plans, work-related coaching, enhancing the abilities of job-seekers in addition to shut cooperation with personal sector institutions to open up broader horizons for sustainable job alternatives.
The ministry indicated that first-time employment and alternative within the public sector accounted for 11,206 alternatives, effectively above a goal of 10,000, whereas the personal sector recorded 25,207 alternatives, surpassing the goal of 24,000.
As for coaching, qualification and on-the-job coaching, the general public sector recorded 2,588 alternatives, whereas the personal sector recorded 12,481.
