
A flight tracker captures the second an Indonesian aircraft carrying 11 individuals misplaced contact on Saturday (17 January).
The surveillance plane had been heading to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, after departing from Yogyakarta province, earlier than contact was misplaced, officers mentioned.
Flightradar24 acknowledged that the plane, which belongs to the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, was flying over the ocean at a low altitude, which restricted their protection. They obtained the final sign roughly 20 km northeast of Makassar Airport.
