The Syrian authorities has introduced a ceasefire has been agreed with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces that may contain the withdrawal of the latter’s forces from areas west of the Euphrates River, in accordance with Syrian state media.

The settlement comes after days of preventing between the Syrian authorities and the SDF in northeastern Syria.
Talking in Damascus, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa mentioned that the settlement will see Syrian state establishments transfer into three japanese and northern governorates – al-Hasakah, Deir Az Zor, and Raqqa – beforehand managed by the SDF.
“We advise our Arab tribes to stay calm and permit for the implementation of the agremeent’s phrases,” al-Sharaa mentioned.
