BALDWIN COUNTY—A girl accused of kidnapping her ex-girlfriend and bringing her to Covington has been convicted.
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, Victoria Lewis was discovered responsible by a Baldwin County jury for kidnapping with bodily harm and aggravated stalking in August 2024.
In response to a press launch from the Ocmulgee District Legal professional’s Workplace, Lewis kidnapped her former girlfriend from her dwelling in Milledgeville and introduced her to Covington. On the time of the kidnapping, Lewis was on probation for a home violence incident that concerned the identical lady, and was already not permitted to have any contact with the sufferer.
The sufferer, who was not recognized within the launch, was held in a Covington motel the place Lewis bodily assaulted her, inflicting “seen accidents,” the discharge states. It’s not instantly clear which motel the incident occurred in.
