GCC Supreme Council Advisory Board holds first meeting of its 29th session

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA):  The Advisory Board of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held its first assembly of the twenty ninth session, chaired by Dr. Shaikha Maryam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, President of the Advisory Board, with the participation of Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of International Affairs, Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-Common of the GCC, and members of the board. 

 

The assembly was additionally attended by Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, Assistant Secretary-Common for Authorized and Legislative Affairs, and Ambassador Hamed bin Saeed Al Ebrahim, Director-Common of the Advisory Board Workplace.

 

The opening session started with a speech delivered by Nasser Abdullah Al Roudan, Chairperson of the Advisory Board for the twenty eighth session, wherein he recommended the excellent growth, safety, and progress witnessed by the Kingdom underneath the management of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.  Al Roudan then handed over the presidency of the twenty ninth session of the Advisory Fee to Dr. Shaikha Maryam bint Hassan.

 

Dr. Shaikha Maryam bint Hassan highlighted the standing of the Advisory Board with His Majesty the King, President of the present session, noting that it’s underneath His Majesty’s direct patronage.  She expressed hope that the session would fulfil the aspirations of the GCC leaders and full the duties entrusted to the board, significantly the research of key points linked to the aspirations of Gulf residents, the shaping of a greater future, and the consolidation of the foundations of sustainable growth in Gulf societies.

 

Dr. Shaikha Maryam bint Hassan thanked the Secretary-Common for the help and efficient help offered by the Common Secretariat, which has had a major impression on enabling the Fee to current qualitative views addressing human-related points and diagnosing regional challenges.
