Muscat: To boost highway security and reduce fatalities from highway accidents, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Data Know-how (MTCIT) has put in versatile boundaries.
These boundaries, geared toward decreasing the severity of auto collisions with highway boundaries, have been put in within the Qarout space of the Wilayat of Izki, Dakhiliyah Governorate, masking 300 meters of harmful curves.
Upon collision, the cylinders, manufactured from versatile supplies, rotate round their axis to cut back the automobile’s acceleration alongside the barrier, as an alternative of a violent rebound or rollover.
The cylinders are designed in line with exact requirements and internationally authorized crash exams.
