NEW DELHI: Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal has referred to as for enhancing bilateral commerce and deepening cultural relations between India and Kyrgyz Republic.
He was addressing the tenth Session of the India-Kyrgyz Republic Inter-Governmental Fee on Commerce, Financial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation (IKIGC), the Ministry of Commerce & Trade stated in an announcement.
The tenth session of IKIGC was held in a digital format. It was co-chaired by Piyush Goyal and Imanov Talantbek Oruskulovich, Minister of Digital Growth of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Goyal famous that India and Kyrgyz Republic share heat and pleasant ties. He stated that India was among the many first nations to ascertain diplomatic relationship with Kyrgyz Republic in March 1992 and noticed that 2022 marked the thirtieth anniversary of diplomatic ties between the 2 nations.
The minister stated that the go to of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Kyrgyz Republic in June 2019 had elevated the connection between two nations to the extent of strategic partnership.
He identified that there was immense potential for enlargement of bilateral commerce between India and Kyrgyzstan. Goyal stated that India was very keen about taking part in commerce reveals and exhibitions in Kyrgyztan and invited Kyrgyztan to participate in commerce expos in India.
“Either side mentioned mutual cooperation and steps to additional improve them within the fields of Commerce & Economic system, Growth Partnership, Funding, Digitalization, Mental Property, Agriculture, Healthcare & Prescribed drugs, Textiles, Training, Setting, Standardization & Metrology, Banking, Transport, Labour, Mining and Energy sectors,” the ministry stated.

A protocol of the tenth session of the IKIGC was signed between India and the Kyrgyz Republic. Each the edges agreed to carry the eleventh session of the IKIGC on a mutually handy date.
