LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A bunch of U.S. Military troopers at Fort Knox are headed to Kuwait.
A deployment ceremony was held final week for troopers of the first Theater Sustainment Command. The troops will journey to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, to alleviate one other workforce that’s returning quickly.
It is a part of a six-month deployment rotation.
The troopers are educated human useful resource specialists, automated logistics specialists, petroleum, communication and authorized specialists.
“This workforce, and the specialised talent units that every of its members have been chosen for, will function the connective tissue between our present operations and the longer term wants of our Warfighters on the battlefield,” stated Col. Timothy M. Gallagher, chief of workers, 1st Theater Sustainment Command.
The deploying groups are anticipated to return to Fort Knox within the spring of 2023.
