MAD Options has acquired the Arab distribution rights to the Yemeni function movie The Burdened (Al Murhaqoon), directed by Amr Gamal, which is amongst works-in-progress offered on the Purple Sea Souk challenge market, based on a report by Selection.
The story, written by Gamal and Mazen Refaat, centres on Ahmed, Isra’a and their three youngsters in Aden, Yemen in 2019.
