A minimum of six junta troopers, together with a serious and captain, had been killed in Kawkareik Township, Karen State, on Friday in clashes with the Karen resistance, in response to the teams.
The Karen Nationwide Liberation Military (KNLA), the armed wing of Karen Nationwide Union (KNU), and the allied White Tiger Column raided Infantry Battalion 231 close to Tatar Kyo village within the south of the township.

A Lion Battalion fighter was killed and regime forces retreated after sustaining heavy losses.
A heavy conflict broke out in Kawkareik city on October 21 when Karen resistance teams ambushed junta targets, together with the district police workplace and an administrative workplace.
There have been civilian casualties reported due to Infantry Battalion 97 shelling and junta airstrikes.
By November, an estimated 7,227 clashes had been reported by the KNU in its territory in Karen and Mon states and Bago and Tanintharyi areas.
It mentioned 6,187 regime troopers had been killed and 4,985 injured and 30 resistance fighters had been killed and 60 injured.
