A gathering occurred between Indian Excessive Commissioner H.E. Gopal Baglay and President Ranil Wickremesinghe on the Presidential Secretariat as we speak (04).
The discussions focussed on elevating nationwide milk manufacturing and offering obligatory technical assist to the manufacturing of liquid milk in Sri Lanka along with the Nationwide Dairy Growth Board (NDDB) of India and Amul Milk Firm. The President appointed a committee consisting of representatives of the private and non-private sectors to work with the multidisciplinary staff of the Nationwide Dairy Growth Board of India to organize a brief, medium and long-term plan for the event of the dairy sector within the nation. This endeavour is geared toward stopping the decline in milk manufacturing and dependence on imported milk in Sri Lanka. The dialogue was held between the members of the committee and representatives of the Nationwide Dairy Board of India (NDDB).
The dialogue was attended by Indian Excessive Commissioner H.E. Gopal Baglay, Dr. Rakesh Pandey, First Secretary, Financial and Business Affairs, representatives of the Nationwide Dairy Growth Board of India and Amul Milk Firm, Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, Senior Advisor to the President on Nationwide Safety and Chief of Presidential Workers, Mr. Saman Ekanayake, President’s Secretary and a gaggle of private and non-private sector representatives appointed by the President.
