The Nationwide Electrical Energy Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) is prone to improve electrical energy tariff by R1.17 per unit on account of month-to-month gas adjustment (MFA) for January 2023.
In keeping with particulars, the Central Energy Buying Company (CPPA) has filed a petition with NEPRA looking for a hike in electrical energy tariff by Rs1.17 per unit below gas month-to-month adjustment.
The CPPA had requested a rise of Rs1.17 for the month of January 2023 below month-to-month gas adjustment.
The Nationwide Electrical Energy Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hear the CPPA plea on February 28 and make the choice accordingly. The rise won’t be relevant on the KE customers.
Earlier it emerged that the federal authorities has determined to hike tariff by Rs7.91 per unit on account of quarterly changes to maneuver swiftly to satisfy situations set by the Worldwide Financial Fund (IMF) to proceed mortgage program below Prolonged Fund Facility (EFF).
