TANAH MERAH, March 2 (Bernama) — The locomotive of a Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) Ekspres Rakyat Timuran passenger practice travelling from Tumpat to Johor Bahru caught hearth in an incident at Taman Tasek Kiara, right here tonight.
Tanah Merah Fireplace and Rescue Station (BBP) chief Mohd Zulkifli Osman stated when the station was alerted of the incident at 10.36pm, 12 personnel and two FRT vans from Tanah Merah BBP and Machang BBP had been rushed to the scene.
“Firefighters had been on the scene by 10.39pm they usually discovered the locomotive of the practice on hearth.
“By 11pm the hearth was introduced beneath management, ” he stated in an announcement.
The practice driver was injured and was taken to Tanah Merah Hospital for therapy.
“All of the practice passengers had been unharmed. The reason for hearth continues to be beneath investigation,” he added.
