COVINGTON, Ga. — After an nearly 90-minute ordeal, escaped Metropolis of Covington inmate Tyler Morgan has been apprehended.
In response to Caitlin Jett of the Newton County Sheriff’s Workplace, a citizen noticed Morgan and held him at gunpoint till regulation enforcement arrived.

He was apprehended within the Oak View space.
Morgan was most lately incarcerated for probation violation. The probation time period was initially for housebreaking. He was booked on January 27, 2023.
