Japan has objected to Myanmar junta’s use of Japanese-donated ships in Rakhine State after investigating Human Rights Watch (HRW) claims.
Japan’s international ministry demanded that the junta prevents using the passenger ships for army functions, in keeping with the state-owned NHK media group.
Ministerial spokesman Ono Hikariko mentioned Japan will work to forestall additional incidents, research the ships’ utilization and promote the right utility of Japanese support.
