Members of the Adivasi Kurmi Samaj Purulia Zilla Committee, armed with flags and placards, allegedly broke window panes and doorways of the BJP chief’s rented lodging within the metropolis, as per a report by information company PTI.

“I’ve supported the Kurmis of their demand for ST standing. The TMC is attempting to divert consideration from the difficulty by misinterpreting my statements. TMC activists, disguised as Kurmis, attacked my residence,” he alleged.
The TMC, nevertheless, denied Ghosh’s allegations and mentioned that he ought to apologise for hurting sentiments.
“These are baseless allegations. He ought to apologise for hurting the emotions of the Kurmi group,” TMC’s Paschim Medinipur district chief Ajit Maity mentioned.
