Israel’s far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa mosque compound early on Sunday, The New Arab reported, citing a supply from the Islamic Waqf Division in Jerusalem.
Ben-Gvir was accompanied by 30 members of the Israeli occupation forces and intelligence personnel, the report mentioned.
The incursion lasted for about quarter-hour, throughout which the far-right minister stopped on the jap areas of the mosque’s compound, close to the Bab al-Rahma prayer space, earlier than leaving in a rush.
“We’re in cost right here,” Israeli media reported him as saying in the course of the incursion. He praised the Israeli occupation forces, saying they have been “proving who’s in cost in Jerusalem”.

In the meantime, unlawful Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque below the safety of Israeli occupation forces.
Jordan’s International Ministry issued a condemnation of the go to, calling it a “provocation,” and a “critical violation of worldwide legislation and the established order on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Ben Gvir’s newest incursion into Al-Aqsa got here amid days after the so-called “flag march” noticed hundreds of far-right Israelis march via the Previous Metropolis carrying Israeli flags, violently chanting “dying to Arabs” and vandalizing Palestinian properties.
