The risk and potential use of ChatGPT and synthetic intelligence have been the main focus of debate in the course of the Digital Future Convention yesterday held at The Empire Brunei.
“We should adapt for the 4th industrial revolution by enhancing and growing expertise. If we can’t adapt, we shall be left behind. Some jobs that existed within the Forties usually are not right here anymore,” DXC Expertise David Allott stated, whereas emphasising the necessity to use ChatGPT or synthetic intelligence responsibly.
Deputy Chief Data Officer of Cyber Safety Brunei Mohamad Azad Zaki bin Haji Mohd Tahir raised his concern on ChatGPT, stating that the lack of know-how behind its algorithm might pose a risk to “our mental properties”.
