The Ministry of Main Sources and Tourism (MPRT) by way of its Wildlife Division on the Forestry Division carried out the Tangkap Buaya Bersama Programme to strengthen human-crocodile battle management initiatives since February.

The programme was carried out by Wildlife Division’s Motion Crew with Mukim Zone 1 and Zone 2 Consultative Council (MPM) led by Penghulu Raimi bin Awang Rashid and Kampong Tamoi Village Consultative Council (MPK) led by Haji Tarif bin Haji Asgar.
The occasion noticed a briefing on using hook and line to catch crocodiles. Underneath the programme, hooks and contours are setup at places with frequent crocodile sightings monitored by villagers.
