A person has been arrested after he stabbed a journalist who taunted him for being homeless
The incident befell at 9 pm on August 26, 2023 in O’Am village, Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima
Police forces of Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province arrested the suspect instantly after he stabbed the journalist thrice, inflicting severe accidents
The suspect has been named as Ken Kan, male, 24 years outdated, Khmer nationality, a brief employee in O’Am village, Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima district.
The sufferer is Dok Sreang, male, 44 years outdated, ethnic Khmer, occupation: journalist, dwelling in O’Am village, Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province
Mr Dok was despatched to Mondulkiri Provincial Referral Hospital for emergency remedy.
Authorities mentioned the trigger was a verbal altercation, with the injured occasion mocking the person, claiming he was homeless.
