Iranian author Nassim Soleimanpour created the play in 2010 in response to not being allowed to depart Iran as a result of he refused to finish the obligatory two-year nationwide service.
Producer Matt Lang mentioned the present grew to become a manner for the playwright to symbolically go away his residence nation.
