The Normal Division of Taxation of the Ministry of Financial system and Finance on September 28 issued a notification saying the exemption of administrative sanctions (extra tax and curiosity) on property tax and unused land tax to facilitate property house owners who’re prepared to fulfil their tax declaration obligations.
In line with the announcement of the Normal Division of Taxation, “Please inform all property house owners who haven’t but registered and declared to pay tax, pay tax deficit, or pay late tax that the Ministry of Financial system and Finance has determined to provide desire to property house owners to pay solely tax by offering the exemption of administrative sanctions (extra tax and curiosity) on each forms of taxes till the top of 2023.”
The Normal Division of Taxation invitations property house owners to register and declare the fee of property tax and/or tax on unused land in 2023. From 2024 onwards, in case the property proprietor doesn’t fulfil these two tax obligations by the date of the exemption of the above administrative penalties (extra tax and curiosity), the legislation and authorized paperwork in pressure shall apply.
The GDT added that the exemption didn’t have the impact of reacting to the executive sanctions (extra tax and curiosity) already paid. Dap-news
