A girl from Kumarapalayam in Namakkal district, Balamani, who was a part of a community that was concerned in promoting infants, was arrested by the Tiruchengodu city police, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, police busted the community and arrested A. Anuradha, a physician on the authorities hospital at Tiruchengodu and a lady affiliate of hers, T. Logambal, for forcing a pair to promote their toddler to a childless couple.
