KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 — A complete of 9 non permanent aid centres have been opened to deal with flood victims in Selangor and Perak as of 8pm tonight.
In SELANGOR, 5 aid centres have been opened from 3pm at the moment in Sepang district after Sungai Dengkil overflowed its banks following steady rain.
Sepang district police chief ACP Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof mentioned 255 victims, involving 67 households, have been housed on the Kampung Dato Ahmad Razali and Taman Gemilang neighborhood halls, and in addition the Jenderam Hilir Village Neighborhood Administration Council Corridor (MPKK).
He mentioned the variety of victims within the different two aid centres, the Dengkil Neighborhood Corridor and Sekolah Menengah (SMK) Dengkil, remains to be being up to date by the Social Welfare Division (JKM).

Among the many areas affected by the flood are Kampung Sungai Buah, Jenderam Hilir, Kampung Orang Asli Batu 28 Jenderam Hilir, Kampung Sri Tanjung and Kampung Chemperai.
In PERAK, the variety of flood victims tonight dropped to 220 folks from 64 households in comparison with 272 folks from 75 households this morning.

In Hilir Perak, 53 persons are in Padang Tembak Multipurpose Corridor aid centres, and 13 persons are housed on the Teluk Intan Municipal Council Corridor, whereas in Kerian, 97 persons are positioned in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Changkat Lobak and 57 persons are taking shelter on the SK Alor aid centre.
In the meantime, the Division of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) reported that Sungai Bidor in Changkat Jong was at a harmful degree at 3.96 metres whereas Sungai Kinta on the Tanjung Tualang weir and Sungai Kerian in Selama hit warning ranges at 13.06 metres and 11.85 metres respectively. — Bernama
