Sri Lanka’s Excise Division has introduced adjustments to the working hours of liquor outlets, efficient December 09, 2023.
In line with the revised schedule, liquor outlets shall be open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
In the meantime, Vacationer board-approved resorts with FL7 and FL8 liquor licenses (resorts with 3 stars and above) can now function from 10:00 AM to 02:00 AM.
All different resorts have been permitted to promote liquor between 10:00 AM and 12:00 AM.
