Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan has shrugged off the assertion on the dissolution of the Artsakh Republic signed by its President Samvel Shakhramanyan.
He signed a decree to dissolve Artsakh’s all state establishments from 1 January 2024 consistent with the ceasefire deal with Azerbaijan in September.
“The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic can’t be dissolved by anybody’s assertion,” Sargsyan informed reporters following a courtroom listening to in his trial on Thursday.
Individually, the ex-president refused to touch upon the would-be peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“How can I make any feedback If I have never seen the doc?” he mentioned, calling out the Armenian authorities for failure to reveal the settlement.
