The Nationwide Meeting (NA) on March 1, 2024 elected Sok Eysan and Heng Halim as senators for the fifth legislature.
This election came about on the NA Palace within the NA’s seventh Extraordinary Session beneath the chairmanship of NA President, Khuon Sudary.
Sok Eysan and Heng Halim had been chosen out of 4 candidates. The opposite two are Ear Khimeng and Tep Kosal.
The Senate of Cambodia consists of 62 seats, 58 of that are elected in a non-universal suffrage, two are appointed by His Majesty the King, and the opposite two are elected by the NA.
