His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented for nearly BND1.4 million from the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023 to fund meals airdrops for Palestinian folks.
Ministry of Overseas Affairs (MFA) in a press release stated USD1,050,000 (roughly BND1,399,545) was allotted to supply 5,920 meals ready-to-eat (MRE) meals packages, every containing breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The primary supply passed off on Wednesday, comprising two airdrops utilizing Jordanian airforce plane on the northern coastal area of Gaza. There was one other airdrop yesterday and yet another immediately.
Brunei Darussalam Ambassador to Jordan and Non-Resident Ambassador to Palestine Haji Mahadi bin Haji Maidin was current for the airdrop preparations at Jordan’s King Abdullah II Air Base.
