EU condemns Myanmar’s ‘politically motivated’ Suu Kyi sentence

BRUSSELS—The European Union on Wednesday slammed a five-year jail sentence given by a Myanmar junta courtroom to deposed civilian chief Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at a “politically motivated” trial.
