Abu Dhabi-headquartered AD Ports Group have appointed a consortium of Jordan’s Dar Al Omran and Maisam Group to develop the masterplan for the Marsa Zayed mega-project in Aqaba in Jordan.
The appointment follows AD Ports Group’s signing of a number of agreements with the Aqaba Improvement Company in 2021 for the event of tourism, transport, logistics and digital infrastructure within the space.
AD Ports Group mentioned in a press release that the consortium will develop the masterplan for a complete land space of three.2 million sq. metres throughout the Marsa Zayed website, which is able to include a number of districts comprising residential, retail, meals and beverage business and workplace area, resort, and leisure areas, and embody a brand new cruise terminal.
