Oman cautions its citizens against travelling to Sri Lanka

MUSCAT: Oman’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs on Wednesday urged its residents to keep away from travelling to Sri Lanka “except completely vital” as a result of current civil upheaval.

In a press release issued, the Ministry stated: “In view of the present safety scenario within the Republic of Sri Lanka and the protests it’s witnessing, the Ministry of Overseas Affairs want to draw the eye of the honorable Omani residents to not go to Sri Lanka throughout this era except completely vital.
