Egyptian president meets Yemeni leader in Cairo

CAIRO: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Rashad Al-Alimi, chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Management Council in Cairo on Saturday.
The 2 leaders mentioned the problem of freedom of navigation within the Purple Sea, in gentle of Iran’s latest escalation of hostile actions there.
El-Sisi harassed “the necessity to mix efforts and intensify joint motion to guard the safety and freedom of navigation within the Purple Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab Strait, and the Arabian Gulf, and the connection of this very important challenge with regional and worldwide safety and stability.”
