American documentary filmmaker Risé Sanders-Weir will conduct workshops for Kyrgyz filmmakers

AKIPRESS.COM – The U.S. Embassy within the Kyrgyz Republic, in partnership with the American Movie Showcase, will host documentary filmmaker Risé Sanders-Weir, for a sequence of in-person workshops, screenings, and discussions about her Gadget Women documentary movie, the Embassy stated.

From June 20-24, 2022, workshop screenings might be held for college students and college of the Media Arts and TV Departments of the Worldwide College of Kyrgyzstan, American College of Central Asia, Naryn State College, and Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas College, in addition to on the American Areas in Bishkek, Kant, and Naryn.
