Minister of Rural Improvement Ouk Rabun headed a delegation to inaugurate the development of a brand new 10,000-kilometre highway in Prey Veng.
The bottom-breaking ceremony happened this morning to inaugurate the assemble the highway which can join Chi Pho village, Chi Phoch commune to Preah village, Chres commune, Mesang district, Prey Veng.
Dr Rabun mentioned, “At the moment, I’m very happy to preside the groundbreaking ceremony for the development of a rubber highway and a concrete highway with a size of 10,679 km, connecting Chi Poch village, Chi Poch commune to Preah village, Chres commune, Mesang district, Prey Veng province, beneath the co-financing of the Rural Productiveness Capability Constructing Venture supported by the Asian Infrastructure Funding Financial institution (AIIB) of the Individuals’s Republic of China.”
This venture is a brand new venture that’s completely different from different initiatives, with circumstances that require the rapid implementation with the intention to keep financial sustainability in rural areas.
The venture has a complete price range of $67 million, $60 million have been financed by the AIIB and $7.5 million from the Cambodian authorities.
