Two law enforcement officials of the Kirindiwala police station have been suspended over the demise of a suspect whereas in police custody.
Police say the 2 officers in query are receiving therapy on the Radawana hospital.
The deceased was arrested for the possession of narcotics.
The police state the suspect was killed in an accident whereas he was being transported in a bike from the police, throughout investigations. The bike has toppled close to a culvert within the space. The 2 policemen accompanying him sustained minor accidents.
The deceased suspect was a 27 yr outdated in ill-health, based on the police.
