KUCHING, 13 Sept (Bernama) — Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will preserve the established order in its parliamentary seat distribution for the fifteenth Basic Election (GE15).
GPS chairman Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who can also be Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) president, stated that GPS was transferring with one voice and settlement on the problem of seat distribution.
“Sure, we’ll preserve (the established order),” he instructed reporters after chairing the GPS Supreme Council Assembly right here right now.
The PBB, which leads the GPS, at present has 13 Members of Parliament (MPs).
The opposite three GPS part events are the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), which has two MPs; Progressive Democratic Celebration (PDP), additionally with two MPs; and the Sarawak United Folks’s Celebration (SUPP), with one MP.
In GE14, PBB contested 14 parliamentary seats, SUPP (seven), PRS (six) and PDP (4).
