New Delhi: The Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) senior choice committee on Saturday included all-rounder Washington Sundar rather than injured pacer Deepak Chahar in Indian squad for remaining two matches of the One-Day-Worldwide (ODI) sequence between India and South Africa. Chahar had a stiff again after the third and closing T20I match in opposition to South Africa in Indore and was not included in India’s enjoying XI within the first ODI in Lucknow.
The Indian pacer will now return to Bengaluru’s Nationwide Cricket Academy (NCA) and the medical crew there’ll supervise him. “He (Chahar) will now head back to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and will be monitored by the Medical Team there,” the BCCI stated in an official release.

It was reported by PTI on Friday that Chahar had suffered a twisted ankle.
“Deepak has sustained a twisted ankle nevertheless it’s not too severe. Nonetheless just a few days of relaxation may be advisable,” a supply informed PTI on circumstances of anonymity.
